Role Overview:

Lifecycle marketing is vital to MasterClass's ongoing success. You'll have the opportunity to track user journeys and make significant contributions across communication channels for both B2C and B2B audiences. You'll join a team of talented and driven marketers and work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and other departments.

This role is remote, ideally based in California or New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted programs and campaigns for different customer segments (both B2C and B2B) to drive acquisition and engagement.
  • Oversee various aspects of lifecycle marketing, including the creative brief process, messaging/content alignment, launch updates, quality assurance, data integrity checks, and stakeholder approvals.
  • Share key project updates, milestones, success stories, and lessons learned with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the experimentation strategy for engagement and enterprise campaigns, constantly refining ways to increase class participation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Product, Creative Operations, Legal, etc.) to ensure lifecycle communications are relevant, personalized, and consistent with our brand.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with a major Email Service Provider (ESP) – experience with Iterable is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with technical tools/languages (HTML, CSS, Java) used in lifecycle campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of key marketing metrics for campaign analysis.
