Papaya is hiring a Director of B2B Marketing to establish our product marketing strategy and lead efforts for our key growth solutions. This pivotal role involves creating and implementing strategic marketing plans to boost market visibility, engage key stakeholders, and drive substantial revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and Execute Product Marketing Strategy

  • Develop product positioning, messaging, and execution strategies by working closely with product management, sales, and other teams to create compelling resources that resonate with our target audience.
  • Create enablement content to support all stages of the sales funnel, improving market penetration and conversion rates.
  • Produce product collateral, website copy, and in-depth thought leadership materials, including white papers, webinars, conference presentations, and reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive intelligence, while establishing and maintaining an Analyst Relations (AR) program.

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and expand the marketing team, overseeing processes, budgets, and providing guidance to team members.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and clients, to promote product adoption and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, product, and delivery to ensure consistent messaging and flawless execution of product strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and the competitive landscape.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Over 10 years of leadership experience in product marketing within the SaaS or related industries, with a strong track record in building product marketing initiatives from scratch.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of enterprise decision-making processes and C-suite buying dynamics.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly in engaging business leaders and C-suite executives.
  • Proactive Leader: A self-starter with a passion for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to build and nurture internal collaborations and relationships.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel up to 20% for meetings and conferences.

To ensure transparency, we’ve included the base pay range for all U.S.-based positions, reflecting the role's level, responsibilities, and benchmarking against similar growth companies in fintech. For this role, the base pay range is $130,000-$160,000.
