We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Delivery Loop Team within the Developer Productivity Pillar. In this role, you’ll be responsible for enhancing the way Webflow engineers build, test, and deliver products to our customers. This year, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to help cut Webflow's cycle time by 50% or more!

Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)

Type: Full-time, Temporary

Exemption Status: Exempt (US only)

Compensation: Aligned with the cost of labor in various markets, with base pay structured by geographic zones:

United States:

  • Zone A: $134,000 - $181,000
  • Zone B: $126,000 - $170,000
  • Zone C: $118,000 - $159,000
  • $152,000 - $205,500 CAD

Reporting To: Senior Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Webflow’s build system to ensure it’s scalable, reliable, and performs well.
  • Manage and configure multiple development environments, ensuring consistency across teams.
  • Help define and enforce best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop deployment strategies for production environments, including rollback mechanisms and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application performance in pre-production environments.
  • Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends, evaluating and implementing new tools to enhance the development process.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in deploying and managing large-scale Node.js applications in production using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
  • Familiar with cloud-native services, especially AWS.
  • Understands CI/CD pipelines for Node.js projects, with an emphasis on automated testing and deployment.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Passionate about mentoring and sharing knowledge within the DevOps team.
  • Proactive in seeking process optimizations, enhancing system reliability, and improving overall efficiency.
  • Knowledgeable in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Pulumi.
  • Excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
