About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our dedicated team of researchers and engineers. This is a full-time, remote role with occasional in-person meetings.

As our designer, you'll collaborate closely with the founding team to refine our current design, enhance user experience, and increase conversion rates. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping our product and making reliable healthcare information more accessible and affordable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve user experiences across our platform using Figma
• Work alongside the founder (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lilou-artz/) to gather requirements and execute designs
• Conduct user research, including concept and usability testing
• Develop and maintain product component libraries and technical guidelines
• Occasionally assist with marketing by creating design assets for various channels (e.g., https://pillser.com/how-to-read-supplement-facts)

Immediate Projects

• Pillser health card: Personalized recommendations based on user profiles (part of https://pillser.com/ask)
• Supplement diary: A new product for logging and tracking supplement intake and health goals
• Pillser stack exchange: A new product for sharing user-created supplement stacks with a reward system

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 2-3 years of UI/UX design experience
• Demonstrated experience in designing e-commerce websites
• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping
• Strong grasp of design systems
• Experience working with React developers
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in healthcare or nutrition-related projects
• Familiarity with AI and its ethical considerations in healthcare
• Basic understanding of front-end development

Our Values

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $90K - $130K (depending on experience)
• Equity: 1% - 2% (with a 4-year vesting schedule and a 1-year cliff)
