Role Overview:
Are you a back-end expert who thrives on independence and leadership? 🧙‍♀️ We're seeking a proactive Senior Back-End Developer who can set their own schedule while collaborating with our energetic and creative team. Your expertise and input will be highly valued, and you'll play a pivotal role in our development process. You'll be tasked with delivering high-quality code and conducting your own QA to meet western standards. 🌟

Key Responsibilities:

• Autonomous Work: Set your own hours while coordinating with the team's working hours (1pm - 12am Sydney EST / 8pm - 7am LA time), with at least 3 hours of overlap with other team members daily. 🕒
• Back-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems using our tech stack. 🖥️
• Assertive Leadership: Participate confidently in team discussions and decision-making processes. 💪
• Ownership and Reliability: Take full ownership of your work, including any errors, and be dependable in delivering what you promise. 👍
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality code and perform rigorous QA to meet western standards. ✔️
• Efficient DB Queries: Develop fast database queries to ensure performance and scalability. ⚡
• System Re-Architecture: Reimagine and redesign back-end systems to accommodate new and evolving application needs. 🔄
• Front-End Understanding: Possess a solid understanding of and some experience with front-end technologies. 🌐
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure their expectations align with project goals. 😊

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Back-End Engineer. 🏆

• Experience in re-architecting back ends for scalability and performance. 📈
• Strong QA skills with attention to detail. 👀
• Extensive experience with MySQL and MongoDB. 💾

• Ideally, 10 years of development experience. 🌟
