Vestwell's Marketing team is expanding! We're in search of a proactive and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for the financial institutions channel. This role offers the chance to collaborate across various teams to ensure the success of our partners using Vestwell, and to develop a comprehensive partner marketing strategy from onboarding through to long-term customer success. You will report to the Senior Strategic Marketing Manager and work alongside a counterpart who manages our Payroll Provider channel.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in relationship management and a deep understanding of the financial services market, particularly in the retirement plan sector and with financial advisors.

In this role, you'll collaborate with both national and regional partners to design and implement joint go-to-market strategies. You'll be comfortable engaging with our existing partners, making data-driven decisions to optimize and grow current relationships, and prioritizing new initiatives that drive revenue through well-executed campaigns.

Success in this fast-paced environment will require a passion for combining data with creativity to build strong partnerships. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, organize, and execute the partner marketing strategy for financial advisors.
  • Prioritize tasks to increase awareness, generate demand, and retain and grow our existing customer base.
  • Assess and refine performance metrics to ensure marketing programs achieve their objectives and facilitate performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify new high-impact activities and growth opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with partners to effectively execute program launches, optimizations, and develop future opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and the sales team to drive partner-sourced revenue.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in partner marketing, campaign marketing, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong relationship-management skills with both external partners and internal stakeholders across various teams.
  • Excellent organization and project management abilities to manage multiple partnerships and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and tackle new challenges with a bias for action.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships and regularly communicate partnership results to internal stakeholders, including executives.
  • Proven success in working with sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a cross-functional team and also work independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, with a focus on the retirement plan market being a plus.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this role is $100K - $120K. Please note that salary ranges are based on New York and similar metro areas and may vary depending on the location of the role.
