Postscript is seeking a Senior Product Designer with experience in early-stage, metrics-driven environments to join our Design team. At Postscript, Product Designers are integral members of the Product-Design-Engineering (PDE) trio, playing a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and product managers, fully embedded in a PDE team. You will have significant ownership and autonomy over your product area, contribute to our design system, and create customer-focused designs alongside a team of diverse Product Designers. This is a fully remote position available across North America, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern US time zone (GMT -6, -5, -4).
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft engaging and innovative experiences that achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform a wide range of design tasks, including defining problems, creating user flows, designing components, providing content guidance, and conducting visual and technical QA.
- Collaborate daily with product engineering teams to brainstorm, design, and iterate with your engineering and product colleagues.
- Actively participate in product and brand design critiques.
- Ensure your team consistently delivers solutions on time and meets goals, iterating quickly to enhance productivity.
- Regularly conduct user interviews, develop user profiles, accurately define user problems, and use these insights to inform your design work and share knowledge with your team.
- Develop a strategic design roadmap for your product area, understanding systems and flows to prioritize design improvements that maximize customer impact swiftly, backed by data-driven decisions.
- Utilize and contribute to Postscript’s Design System.
What We’re Looking For:
- Several years of proven experience in SaaS product design.
- Strong background in early-stage product definition and metric-driven design.
- Exceptional design skills with an impressive online portfolio.
- In-depth knowledge of eCommerce design patterns.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience with HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
