Salsify is looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to develop essential enablement materials for our technical influencers and decision-makers. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of our diverse technical audiences, their challenges, the ecosystems they operate in, and how Salsify can seamlessly integrate into these ecosystems to offer innovative, low-risk solutions. You will collaborate across various teams, including Product, Sales Engineering, Product Market Strategy, Sales Enablement, and Revenue Marketing, to build and enhance the market narrative that positions Salsify as the leading technical solution for excelling in the digital shelf space.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop core product and solution enablement materials that empower internal teams to create demand generation and other customer-facing content for both technical and business decision-makers.

Collaborate with Product, Sales Engineers, and Product Market Strategy teams to create and maintain positioning, messaging, differentiation, and ROI documentation for our platform and products.

Define and maintain audience segmentation and persona profiles for our technical influencers and decision-makers to guide marketing strategies.

Work with Market Intelligence to develop and update competitive enablement materials.

Create and manage a customer-facing slide library for our platform and products, supporting go-to-market teams in crafting compelling presentations for both technical and business audiences.

Partner with Corporate Marketing to identify key value propositions and industries for technical case studies, and assist in sourcing and developing these case studies.

Collaborate with Product and Sales Engineering teams to develop technical implementation best practices documentation.

Produce customer-facing materials that highlight technical benefits, including reference architecture diagrams, tech stack illustrations, and integration architecture diagrams, in collaboration with Product and Sales Engineering teams.

Update or create new materials as needed for new product launches and feature releases.

Qualifications:

Over 4 years of experience in a technical product marketing role within an enterprise software company targeting technical buyers.

Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to translate deep technical features into business benefits and value propositions, including ROI calculations and financial outcomes for customers.

Exceptional written communication skills, with experience in creating both internal and external content of varying lengths and technical depth. Comfortable presenting to and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executives and C-Suite.

Data-driven mindset, adept at analyzing data to generate insights and clearly communicating those insights.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Highly collaborative team player with the ability to organize, communicate, and drive projects forward across cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, marketing, and other departments.

Proactive, self-starter with the ability to operate independently.
