About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Product Marketing Manager to join DataCamp for a 6-month term. In this key role, you will lead the development and execution of our product marketing strategy. You will collaborate with commercial and product teams to create compelling messaging that highlights DataCamp’s unique value to individual learners and organizations. Strong storytelling, communication skills, and a track record of driving cross-functional projects to successful outcomes are crucial for this position.

Your initial focus will be on refining our communication strategies for both prospects and existing customers, making this an ideal role for someone with deep knowledge of the data landscape and a passion for impactful product marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Persona Research: Identify and understand the needs, pain points, and goals of our enterprise buyers and users.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and assess competitor activities to identify market opportunities and threats, providing insights to refine product messaging and strategy.
  • Messaging Development: Craft clear, impactful messaging that addresses the needs of our target customers and differentiates DataCamp in the market.
  • Collateral Creation: Develop high-quality marketing materials such as pitch decks, blogs, white papers, and demo scripts to support the buyer's journey.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to ongoing marketing initiatives with campaign messaging and content.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with revenue and customer success teams to gather customer testimonials and success stories.
  • Feedback Utilization: Use customer feedback to enhance product positioning and guide future product development.
  • Analyst Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with analysts, briefing them on our product capabilities and roadmap.
  • Win/Loss Analysis: Conduct and document win/loss analyses to refine targeting strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Extensive experience in product marketing, particularly in B2B SaaS or ed-tech sectors. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Technical Background: Significant experience in the data space or deep tech industry; relevant technical experience in other industries will be considered.
  • B2B Expertise: Proven expertise in B2B marketing, which is a core focus for this role.
  • Communication: Excellent English proficiency with strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Innovative Mindset: A passion for creative problem-solving, quick iteration, and learning from failures.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to shape and execute impactful marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
