MINT MOBILE is looking for a skilled Senior UI Designer to join our Marketing Team. This position reports to the Lead, Experience Designer and offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office days. Ideally, candidates should reside within commuting distance of Costa Mesa, CA, and be available to work on-site at least once a week or as required.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive direction of our digital web platforms, creating aesthetically pleasing and functional UI interfaces. Your collaborative mindset and appreciation for diverse perspectives will help you approach problem-solving with creativity and an open mind. Working closely with Experience Designers (UX), Digital Designers, Copywriters, Developers, Animators, Project Managers, and the Senior Creative Director, you’ll ensure that your designs align with business goals and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop visually stunning and intuitive UI designs that align with our brand’s aesthetic and functional objectives.
• Lead the design process, iterating on concepts to refine and enhance visual designs.
• Contribute to and maintain our Design Systems to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
• Present design concepts to the team and stakeholders, clearly articulating your design rationale.
• Integrate user interface animations to enhance interactivity and engagement, collaborating with other teams to bring these concepts to life.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that accurately represent the final UI.
• Uphold brand consistency across all projects, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and competitive products to keep our designs cutting-edge.
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior designers on large projects.

Work Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm PST.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 4+ years of UI design experience for mobile interfaces, ideally within e-commerce (D2C brands preferred).
• A strong portfolio showcasing visually compelling and functional UI designs for responsive and mobile websites.
• A deep understanding of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and iconography.
• Expertise in modern UI patterns, responsive web design, and animation tools.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Experience managing multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices.

The starting salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $145,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, and location.
