Your Impact

The Vice President of Learning Experience Design (LXD) is a vital leadership position, overseeing the design, customization, and delivery of impactful training experiences for Correlation One’s enterprise and government clients. This role involves direct client interaction and leading a team of exceptional Learning Designers and Content Developers while working closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Career Development.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a talent for aligning high-level strategies with thoughtful process design and execution. They will manage content customization and learning experience design tailored to client-specific needs, ensuring training programs align with learner skill levels, industry case studies, and client technologies. Innovation management is also key, with responsibilities including testing, scaling, and aligning new ideas with business objectives.

In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you will be part of an outstanding leadership team, working to meet ambitious deadlines and cultivate a high-performance culture. The position involves both hands-on tasks, like crafting proposals, and leading a lean, agile team that adapts quickly to client needs. A Day in the Life

Learning Strategy and Customization: Lead the customization of content for training programs, assessments, and competitions to meet specific client needs, with a focus on data literacy learning design. Serve as a consultative expert during client engagements, ensuring that our curriculum aligns with client goals while advocating for effective learning. Customization is a core value, and your ability to understand client needs and offer tailored learning solutions will be crucial.

Team Leadership and Development: Manage and develop a high-performing team of Learning Designers, Content Developers, and a Content Product Owner, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure the team remains agile, resilient, and responsive to evolving client and market needs.

Operational Excellence and Process Optimization: Ensure content is delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards, while identifying and implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency and scalability. Oversee the implementation of new workflows and automation processes that support content creation and delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to ensure seamless program execution and alignment with strategic objectives. This includes refining the end-to-end product experience for our data and AI education offerings, with an emphasis on continuous improvement.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data to guide content development and delivery decisions. Monitor and measure the success of training programs, using insights to refine and improve future offerings.

Your Expertise

Industry and Domain Expertise: The VP should be deeply knowledgeable about the professional upskilling space, regularly sharing industry insights to enhance our learning experiences. They should have strong technical acumen and subject matter expertise in data science, AI, and generative AI education, understanding how these technologies affect enterprise training and development.

Learning Strategy and Customization: A strong background in consulting with a focus on learning strategy and curriculum development is essential. The VP should act as a learning strategist, advising clients on cohort and program design, and tailoring content to specific client needs, including using assessments to gauge learner skill levels and adjust curricula accordingly.

Client Engagement: Proven ability to engage with enterprise clients, understand their needs, and translate those needs into effective, customized learning solutions. Expertise in data literacy learning design and a solid understanding of HR and Learning & Development (L&D) practices are crucial. The VP should lead client interactions, gather necessary information for curriculum customization, and ensure that content delivery aligns with client-specific technologies and needs.

Innovation and Technology: A strong background in managing educational technologies and driving innovation in content and delivery methods is required. The VP should leverage technology to improve learning experiences and operational efficiency and have experience in product management or developing digital learning platforms.

Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The VP should maintain high standards in content delivery while seeking opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the overall learning experience.

Process Improvement and Optimization: Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and content quality, particularly in fast-paced, high-demand environments. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex initiatives from start to finish, are essential.

Proactive Problem Solving: A proactive attitude, with the ability to address client challenges and ensure the team responds effectively to client needs. The VP should manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that content adjustments and approvals are made swiftly to meet client expectations.

This remote role is compatible with the EST time zone, and candidates in Canada and the United States are encouraged to apply. Our headquarters are in New York City, with office space in Midtown Manhattan.

Compensation

Compensation for this role varies by location and takes into account multiple factors, including experience, education, and skill sets. A reasonable estimate for the base salary in the United States is between $180,000 and $200,000, excluding bonuses, equity, or benefits.
