Work closely with the Travel product teams to explore, define, and deliver user-centric designs that align with business goals and generate measurable value for both the business and users.
Utilize competitive research, user experience insights, and data analysis to shape well-informed design perspectives and identify opportunities to improve the travel experience within the overall product ecosystem.
Use Figma to design and iterate on prototypes for design critiques, stakeholder reviews, user feedback, and engineering handoffs.
Apply the design system to ensure consistency, improve design and engineering workflows, and maintain adherence to brand guidelines.
Collaborate with UX research and data analytics teams to gather necessary data to make informed design decisions.
Requirements
3-5 years of product design experience, working closely with product and engineering teams to transform ideas into finished products for responsive web and mobile applications.
Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Experience in developing "0-1" consumer products in a fast-paced startup environment with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
Proficient in leveraging competitive research, user studies, and data-driven insights to guide design choices.
Advanced expertise in Figma, including auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems, along with experience using tools like FigJam, Notion, Jira, and Confluence.
A business-focused approach to design, balancing speed and quality to ensure positive business outcomes.
Comfortable in fast-moving environments requiring quick turnarounds and adaptability.
A proactive self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in an agency or startup environment, with a proven ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with travel-related products, such as hotels, flights, or car rentals.
Skilled in working with data and conducting analyses to inform and improve design decisions.
