DogsThat is a passionate, diverse, and fast-paced group seeking a Digital Marketing & Content Creation Specialist to join us. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm ET, with occasional work outside these hours.

We’re looking for someone eager to grow alongside entrepreneur Susan Garrett and contribute to our vision of enhancing the bond between dogs and their owners. Our heart-driven company values the success of our community and students as key to our future achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Design and execute digital marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and growth.
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media accounts and maintain consistent posting schedules.
  • Content Creation: Develop creative content, including graphics, reels, and videos across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, and YouTube.
  • Content Marketing: Plan and deliver valuable, relevant content to engage our audience, optimizing for SEO and lead generation.
  • Graphic Design: Create visuals for eBooks, posters, ads, and digital/print materials.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with DogsThat/Shaped By Dog branding.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build a strong community.
  • Strategy Development: Implement social media strategies, monitor trends, and seek growth opportunities.
  • Analytics: Track social media performance and adjust strategies as needed, with knowledge of UTM creation and GA4 reporting.
  • SEO Knowledge: Optimize social media profiles and content for enhanced visibility.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Remote Work Experience: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for serving both the team and a large dog-loving community.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members, including the Social Media Coordinator.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva, AI tools for content creation, GSuite, Slack, ManyChat, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills for engaging posts and audience interaction.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility in working with a small team and handling diverse tasks.
  • Affinity for Reinforcement-Based Dog Training: A passion for reinforcement-based training, with a preference for familiarity with Susan Garrett’s methods.

Ideal Team Member Traits:

  • Agile, humble, trustworthy, and a team player.
  • Willingness to take on tasks outside the traditional role.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Ability to work in East Coast Timezones.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

  • You lack experience working remotely or in an agile environment.

Note: Flexibility is essential as the role may require responsiveness outside normal hours during three to four annual events.
