About the team

As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you'll play a key role in delivering insights that inform crucial business decisions. The Angi Analytics team brings together strategic, operational, and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to driving change across the organization.

With our two-sided marketplace connecting homeowners and service professionals, our work is complex and rich in data. We collaborate across functions to develop, execute, and refine initiatives that generate business value. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker, using advanced analytics techniques to derive actionable insights from complex data. They will be proficient in analytics methodologies (such as regression and cluster analysis) and have a proven ability to deliver insights that drive business success. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and model data to evaluate marketing performance, pinpoint successful strategies, and generate actionable insights.
  • Become an expert in the Angi ecosystem and serve as the go-to person for data and business objectives related to the partners you support.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business questions, prioritize analytics initiatives, and drive value.
  • Use data manipulation and statistical skills to offer descriptive and diagnostic analysis, support marketing decisions, and provide tactical recommendations.
  • Serve as an expert in statistical analysis, experimental design, modeling, and impact analysis.
  • Create predictive models, segmentation strategies, and data visualizations to support decision-making and optimize processes.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership, turning complex data into actionable strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed of progress and performance.
  • Use advanced SQL to create scalable data sources and key performance indicators that align with business goals, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, data science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in eCommerce marketplaces and marketing.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
  • Experience with Dbt and LookML is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic, critical thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and drive improvement.
  • Skilled at validating analysis results by cross-referencing data from various sources.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is between $85,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and performance, with possible adjustments based on location.

This position is also eligible for a year-end performance bonus and equity package.
