The Sr. Manager of Design Services oversees multiple teams, ensuring operational and creative excellence in designing automotive website interfaces and digital marketing assets for Cars Commerce clients. This leader is experienced in managing people and processes, accountable for enhancing workflows and meeting key performance metrics. A deep technical and creative understanding is essential, including adherence to brand guidelines, quick adaptation to deadlines, and attention to detail. This role requires the ability to mentor teams, resolve conflicts, and provide strategic direction to both managers and individual contributors.

Key responsibilities include auditing operational processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and managing employee performance. This role also involves leading team growth through regular meetings, coaching, and fostering development, while collaborating with marketing and product teams to deliver high-quality, timely design solutions. Success is measured by client satisfaction, content quality, and employee engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in creative/digital marketing
  • 3+ years of managing large, multi-discipline teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe CC
  • Experience in process improvement and performance management

Additional Skills:

  • Expertise in design principles and digital marketing strategies
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and analytical acumen
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle senior-level conflict resolution
  • Experience in fast-paced environments; automotive experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Figma, Salesforce, Wrike, WordPress is a bonus

Salary Range: $115,300 - $144,150 USD, with additional benefits such as medical, dental, 401(k), paid time off, employee stock purchase programs, and more. If this aligns with your expectations, we encourage you to apply and explore the full compensation package.
