About the Role

As the Senior Marketing Operations Manager at DataCamp, your role will be to streamline and enhance our marketing processes and systems, improving the efficiency of both B2B and B2C marketing initiatives. This individual contributor position will focus on developing a top-tier marketing technology stack, integrating various data sources, and delivering actionable insights to guide our marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with sales, product, and data science teams to ensure seamless collaboration and optimized marketing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a unified marketing technology stack supporting both B2C and B2B go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure smooth data integration across multiple systems, including web forms, Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and email systems.
  • Optimize lead management, scoring, segmentation, and funnel processes.
  • Drive growth by implementing automated processes and improving operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics & Engineering to gain real-time insights into marketing performance, revenue, and pipeline generation.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting systems to monitor key marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Regularly assess and optimize the marketing tech stack for peak performance and ROI.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance data quality, system integration, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the day-to-day programming of marketing campaigns and workflows.
  • Train and enable the marketing team to execute their campaigns using marketing automation tools.
  • Maintain documentation and training resources for marketing systems and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing technology and operations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations and analytics within a B2B PLG SaaS or marketplace (B2B + B2C) setting.
  • Expertise in Salesforce and marketing automation tools such as Marketo or HubSpot.
  • Experience with email tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Customer.io) is a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience working with data science teams to integrate multiple data sources for actionable marketing insights.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Tag Manager, GA4, Heap, etc.
  • Knowledge of reverse ETL and no-code automation tools.
  • A history of building high-performing marketing tech stacks and operational systems for global teams.
