Vestwell's Marketing team is expanding! We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to take charge of our marketing efforts for the financial institutions channel. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments to enhance the success of our partners who utilize Vestwell, while developing and executing a comprehensive partner marketing strategy, from onboarding to long-term success. Reporting to the Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, you will work alongside a counterpart who oversees the Payroll Provider channel.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in relationship management and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, especially in the retirement plan sector and with financial advisors.

In this role, you'll engage with both national and regional partners, crafting and implementing collaborative go-to-market strategies. You’ll excel in building strong relationships with our partners, leveraging data to make informed decisions that enhance current partnerships, and prioritize new initiatives to drive revenue through well-planned and executed campaigns.

Success in this fast-paced role will require a mix of data-driven insights and creative problem-solving. You’ll need to be detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, organize, and execute the marketing strategy for financial advisor partners.
  • Focus on driving awareness, generating demand, and retaining and growing the customer base.
  • Review and optimize performance metrics to ensure marketing efforts meet objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with partners to launch and optimize programs, while identifying future opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive partner-sourced revenue.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in partner or campaign marketing, ideally in financial services.
  • Proven relationship-management skills, both with external partners and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing needs, and tackle challenges with a proactive approach.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a creative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in presenting to internal stakeholders, including executives.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in the retirement plan sector.

Salary:

The expected salary range for this position is $100K - $120K, based on NY and similar metro areas, with potential adjustments depending on location.
