About the Team:

You’ll be part of the Core Services team, which supports the critical systems SmartAsset relies on for advisor support, lead validation, and custom integrations for enterprise clients. This role involves collaborating with other teams to ensure data integrity and make an impact alongside talented colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, delivering software aligned with best practices.
  • Build and maintain scalable, full-stack enterprise technology solutions.
  • Work closely with Product to optimize the creation, structuring, and delivery of content.
  • Integrate third-party tools and internal data for feature experimentation and content refinement.
  • Collaborate with architects to design an adaptable content management system.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance technology and team processes for improved software quality and delivery.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
  • Proficiency in building, deploying, and scaling Java web applications, with experience in ReactJS and NodeJS frameworks.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and comfort with relational databases.
  • Expertise in source control (Git or similar) and cloud-based solutions (AWS).
  • Strategic thinking in technical and business contexts, with excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with headless WordPress or similar content management systems.
  • Familiarity with NextJS framework and GraphQL.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely.
  • Knowledge of Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with ad-serving platforms such as DFP.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
  • Must be able to communicate via phone and video conferences.

Salary:

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City residents: Base salary ranges from $110K to $170K, plus RSUs and benefits. Final salary is based on skills, experience, and location.
