About the Team:

You'll join the Core Services team, responsible for maintaining the systems that SmartAsset relies on to support financial advisors, process leads, and manage custom integrations for enterprise clients. You'll collaborate closely with multiple teams to safeguard the integrity of advisor and investor data, all while working with talented peers and making a tangible impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in a dynamic team environment to deliver software using Agile methodologies.
  • Build and maintain scalable full-stack enterprise solutions that represent our brand.
  • Work with the Product team to streamline content creation and delivery.
  • Integrate with third-party tools and internal data teams to drive feature experiments and enhance content.
  • Partner with architects to design a sustainable content management architecture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve software quality and efficiency through new technologies and processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications.
  • Expertise in Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, and modular web content development.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of Git or other source control tools.
  • Experience designing cloud solutions with AWS.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in Agile environments.
  • Passion for technology, cross-functional work, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with headless WordPress or similar content management tools.
  • Familiarity with NextJS framework and GraphQL.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely.
  • Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience with ad serving platforms like DFP.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods and work on a computer.
  • Must be able to communicate via phone or video conference.

Residents of specific states such as California, Colorado, and New York City: the salary range is $110K–$170K + RSUs + benefits, based on experience, skills, and location.
